Wedding Rings Workshop
Service Description
More and more couples are taking an interest in creating their own wedding bands and it's truly a magikal experience, you're literally forging your intentions of love & commitment to one another. This workshop will include: A brief overview on what precious metals are, why I use recycled where possible, wire shapes, types & gauges, tools as well as how to create your very own 925 wedding ring bands. I'll show you how to check your ring size correctly, the different ways you can measure your wire out. You'll also learn the basics of sawing, sanding, adding texture, annealing, soldering, pickling & polishing! Once completed, the ring will be yours your take home & treasure (as long as it does not need hallmarking, which is a legal requirement for precious metals based on weight, in which case you can either collect or have your jewellery posted to you once the hallmark has been applied). This is a beautiful opportunity for me to share my saced cabin space with you or for you to experience crafting in a fully equipped jewellery studio. All of the materials and tools will be provided, but if you would prefer to create in 9ct Yellow or Rose Gold, please be sure to select this Add-on when booking as all materials are ordered in advance and there is an additional cost for these metals inc. hallmarking fees. You will need: 🌟Closed toe shoes (no sandals, flip flops or high heels) 🌟Something to tie your hair back with, if it is long. 🌟Please wear appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Please note: There is plenty of parking around the studio and also street parking on either location. Please be sure to arrive on time. I am sorry to advise there is no accessibility access at my home cabin but there is at Making Space Studios.
Cancellation Policy
When you complete payment for this workshop you are agreeing to attend this workshop on time at the time and location specified. If you need to cancel, this will need to be done no later than 5 days prior to the workshop in order to reschedule for a different date. Any cancellations made after this period will not be offered a rescheduling date but you can gift the slot you have booked to someone else, should this be the case, please be sure to email contact@crystalcraftedjewellery.co.uk so that Chelsea is aware. Refunds are not offered due to cost of studio hire and materials being sourced in advance. In the event you are unable to attend due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances please send an email to contact@crystalcraftedjewellery.co.uk and we will discuss further at a time that is more convenient for you. Jewellery tools & materials will be used throughout this workshop, so numbers for each workshop type have been limited to ensure health & safety measures can be maintained. I am sorry to say that there is no accessibility access to my home cabin or Blackbox Creative Studios, but there is accessibility access at the Making Space studios.
